Volunteer squads from OSOAVIAKHIM form, and young men and women enroll in demining courses, hoping to restore peace to their homeland. After a brief week of training, they face the perilous task of clearing explosives, a danger akin to war. However, their trusted commander is not who he appears to be. What choices will the young deminers make when confronted with this shocking truth?
